Like all DS DRUM metal series snares, the unique C-Shape™ shell design was developed to achieve exceptional tonal properties. The shell’s structure is carefully engineered so that the batter and resonant sides differ in angle, thickness, and depth, resulting in a soft, round tone on the bottom and maximum precision on the batter side. Every shell is finished with a thin layer of lacquer to preserve its natural beauty.
