Le modèle de caisse claire YAIBA II est équipée des nouvelles coquilles moulées développées par l'équipe Canopus afin d'optimiser la projection et la précision sonore. L'essence de bois utilisé est l'érable (Maple) ou également disponible en Bouleau (Birch). La profondeur du fût permet d'obtenir plus de graves et une projection accrue. Elles sont en outre équipées des fameux timbres Canopus qui ont une renommée internationale.
