The Thornton Phoenix 15P is the largest passive model in the Phoenix series, designed to deliver strong, clear and reliable sound in demanding professional environments. Its 15-inch woofer with a 3-inch voice coil and 60 oz magnet provides deep, controlled bass, while the 1.75-inch titanium compression driver ensures crisp highs and excellent vocal clarity. With a power capacity of 700/1400/2800 watts (continuous/program/peak) and a sensitivity of 96 dB, it easily fills large venues while maintaining ample headroom.
Its 55 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response delivers a balanced sound suitable for both music and speech. The shock-resistant ABS cabinet, steel grille and internal acoustic foam protect the components and reduce unwanted resonances. The round-hole grille gives a professional look and requires no additional protection.
The Phoenix 15P integrates smoothly into passive PA setups with external amplifiers, mixers and subwoofers, making it ideal for mobile stages, fixed installations, halls, outdoor events and houses of worship. Its versatile design allows use as a front speaker or as a stage monitor.
