The Larrivée DV-40R is part of the Legacy Series, inspired by vintage dreadnoughts from the 1930s and 1940s.
This dreadnought model with a cutaway offers powerful projection and excellent playability right up to the high notes thanks to easy access to the neck.
With its solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood body, the DV-40R delivers a full sound with deep bass, balanced mids, and clear highs.
The lightweight (hollowed/carved) X-brace maximizes resonance and dynamics, making it an instrument suitable for energetic strumming as well as fingerstyle playing.
The vintage aesthetic is enhanced by herringbone binding, a Bold Rope rosette, and maple binding for a classic and elegant look.
