The Axis8 features eight channels, including four with microphone preamps with balanced XLR and line inputs. Channels 3/4 and 5/6 operate as dedicated stereo inputs for keyboards or other stereo devices, while channel 7/8 provides RCA/phono and mini-jack inputs for media players or DJ equipment. Each channel includes a gain control with overload indicator, a 3-band EQ and PFL monitoring. Channels 1–6 also include a low-cut filter to remove unwanted rumble.
The mixer includes a built-in digital effects processor with 16 presets to enhance vocals, acoustic instruments or any source needing refinement. An aux send/return loop allows you to integrate external effects, and the USB audio interface (2 channels) makes the Axis8 suitable for recording with a computer. A 5-segment LED meter assists with level monitoring, and phantom power ensures compatibility with condenser microphones.
